Rent photos: A new trend?

In what may become a popular new way to sell photography, stock agency innovator PressFoto now offers to rent photos. One thousand impressions costs just 1 cent. Perhaps microstock will become like Spotify and Pandora, streaming digital content instead of selling it. How long until Shutterstock and iStock start renting photos?
