
Less than a year after introducing the D5200, Nikon has announced an improved model, the D5300. An entry-level camera, the D5300 is notable for being the first Nikon digital SLR camera to offer built-in Wi-Fi and GPS functions.

- Built-in GPS
- Better video (1080/60p vs 1080/60i)
- One ounce (25 g) lighter
The pricing is similar, at $799 for the body.
